Venue Details

13 acre hill loch which provides the visiting angler with some stunning views across the Clyde estuary. The peaty waters contain some hard fighting rainbow and brown trout population that really gets the pulses racing at this bonny moorland water. There is a considerable contrast in depths, from the shallow top end at around 6' to the bottom extremity with its dam, falling away to around 37'. Their is Also a 3/4 acre bait pond available to use.

Rainbow trout, brown trout, golden trout and some remnent steelheads.
Stocking Policy
The loch is stocked weekly with 4 to 5 hundred pounds of rainbows, usually Thursdays.
Day tickets
£10 day sporting ticket (C&R only), £7 Evening session (4 hr) C&R 5 till 9 pm, £9 2 fish 4 hrs day or eve, £12.50 day ticket 3 fish + C&R, £15 day ticket 4 fish + C&R, £17.50 day ticket 5 fish + C&R, £18 5 fish Parent and child (under 16).

£1.00 concession for Juniors (under 16s),OAPs and disabled
Rules
Common sence applies when fishing C&R. Do not touch fish with dry hands, you can net the fish bu try not to lift out of the water, be as quick as possible.
