Malleny Angling Association hold the bank fishing rights to Harlaw reservoir and to the north bank of Threipmuir reservoir - from the fishing hut to the west, eastwards to the Black Springs, a distance of approximately 1.5 miles.

- The season is from April 1st till October 30th.
- Fish
- Rainbow trout (Harlaw), brown trout (Threipmuir )
- Stocking Policy
- Harlaw reservoir is stocked every 2 weeks with Rainbow trout at an average weight of 1.5 lbs although larger fish are commonly caught! Threipmuir reservoir is stocked with Brown trout at 12" to 14" but again larger specimens can catch out the unwary.

- The Association has 100 members with an additional 10 season permit holders.
