Ynysyfro Reservoirs
Newport, Gwent, NP10 9GNVenue Details
Operated by Newport Reservoirs Fly Fishing Association (NRFFA), the reservoirs consist of two lakes of 16 and 10 acres respectively, they are well secluded and a good head of fish is maintained by regular stocking. Because the reservoirs are so well established the fly life can be prolific, with plenty of buzzers, sedge, silverhorns, damsels and cranefly present. Nymph and dry fly fishing is particularly productive throughout the season.
