Swanswater offers flyfishing for top quality trout on 3 ponds.
The main water ( Swanswater ) is some 10 acres and offers bank fishing up to 36 rods plus 3 boats for hire. A float tube is available for hire or anglers may bring ther own.
The 2 smaller ponds the Millpond and the Meadow Pond are stocked with the same quality hard fighting fish as Swanswater although it has to be said they are slightly smaller fish.
The Meadow Pond is especially popular with the youngsters and beginners.

- Stocking Policy
- We have a daily stocking policy with top quality Rainbow, Golden,Brown, Blue and Tiger Trout. All fish are reared on site from half a lb and only triploid or late maturing Rainbows are used. Swanswater is stocked with all varieties from 2lb to 18lb. The fish in the smaller ponds average 1.75lb, but bigger fish are quite common. The Golden trout are popular in the Meadow Pond where they can been seen cruising and are easily targeted.
