On the valley floor, six shimmering freshwater trout lakes are fed by the River Lym. Now approaching their thirtieth year, the Amherst Lodge lakes are well established. The excellent quality of the water and the mature waterside plant life produce a superb environment for fish, wildlife and angler alike.
