Rivers Creedy, Yeo, Taw, Culm and Culvery

Venue Details

Crediton Fly Fishing Club controls approximately six miles of the Rivers Creedy, Yeo and Culvery, most of which is double bank fishing. These streams have abundant fly life, including a Mayfly hatch, which, together with many terrestrials ensure superb opportunities to fish the dry fly for wild brown trout throughout most of the season. Because of our abundant trout populations, we do not need to stock our rivers, and consequently we are now one of the very few clubs in the South West to be able to offer true wild brown trout fishing.
In addition, the club also leases one and a half miles of the River Taw above Coldridge, which provides excellent sport for wild brown trout with the bonus of a run of sea-trout and the occasional salmon, and also has access to an excellent beat on the River Exe for winter grayling fishing.
In 2004 we also took a lease on a very attractive stretch of the River Culm at Willand.
