Blagdon Reservoir
Nr Blagdon, Somerset, BS40 7TQVenue Details
Often referred to as the birth place of still water trout fishing, Blagdon Lake has been open for fishing for over one hundred years. Its 440 acres are, to many, the perfect trout fishery. Nestling under the Mendip Hills its mature plantations and picturesque surroundings make fishing a wonderful experience. Add to that the superb trout reared and stocked by Bristol Water and you have a recipe for a memorable day. With its many bays and points Blagdon offers first class bank fishing for much of the seven mile perimeter. To explore the more inaccessible areas a boat is the answer - no noisy petrol engines - just peace, quiet and screaming reels!
