River Rhymney and Cefn Mably Lakes

Classified as one of the premier all-year Welsh fisheries, Cefn Mably has a complex of five spring-fed lakes, two of which are for coarse species only and three of which are trout. There is also a mile-long stretch of the River Rhymney alongside the lakes which holds first-class grayling and chub.
