Since opening under new ownership in February 2006, Shatterford Lakes is now predominantly a fishery, rather than a Country Park, although many animals such as deer and natural wildlife can be seen on site. There are six lakes, and though 5 of them are reserved for coarse fishing, Wyre Dell contains trout and is fly fishing only.
