Trefeddian Beach and River Dovey

The northern flank of the Dovey Estuary. Very shallow, averages no more than 7' at 100yds range. Composed of coarse sand and gravel right up to the high water mark. Primarily a bass beach and inconsistent like so many bass marks are, but capable of producing quality bass at any time. School bass are present throughout most of the year, but peak periods for the bigger bass last from early May through late June, then again in September and October. A steady southwest force 3-4 wind gives the best conditions for bass.
