Venue Details

The Tyn-y-Cornel Hotel controls 2 waters.

Talyllyn is a natural 220-acre, shallow, Brown Trout Lake nestling in the southwest corner of the Snowdonia National Park and below the peak of Cader Idris. It forms the headwater of the river Dysynni that flows westwards for 10 miles before entering Cardigan Bay just north of Tywyn. Talyllyn provides Boat; float tube and bank fishing for a good head of wild brown trout supplemented by regular stockings of super quality browns, many from our own progeny. Fly-fishing only is allowed and there is no anchoring of boats. The lake sees runs of sea trout and salmon as the season progresses.

Llyn Bugeilyn is a remote 45 acre mountain lake containing wild trout.
