Venue Details

Llyn Trawsfynydd is a 1200 acre stillwater set in the Snowdonia national park. It has established an international reputation for quality fly fishing. Since 1953 anglers have enjoyed fly fishing from boats in secluded bays catching wild brown trout and more recently stocked rainbow trout. Llyn Trawsfynydd is a natural lake, which was enhanced by man to provide increased water levels for cooling the nearby power station, which has since ceased output.
