River Aire
Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 4EBVenue Details
The River Aire is one of Yorkshires well known rivers starting high in the dales at Malham Tarn. After leaving the Tarn the waters sink and flow for the first few miles underground to emerge at Airehead Springs south of Malham, Joining Gordale and Malham becks. It then flows through pasture lands meandering its way past Skipton before starting its journey through the once industrial heartland of West Yorkshire.
