Lockwood Beck is a good size - 60 acres - and offers varied features which can be explored from bank and boat. Whichever way the wind blows, there is always an area where fishing is comfortable and productive. The deep water enables the fish to overwinter well so that when you fish deep with fast sinking lines you feel there is always the chance of a huge wild brown homing in on the nymph or lure. But it is the excellent top of the water sport for regularly stocked rainbows of the highest quality that makes Lockwood so appealing. From early in the season small nymphs and dries will take fish from on and just below the surface.
